Their extremely smart solution for distributing television signals over a structured network. The catTV 19" rack mounted 12 way panel accepts signals from 5-860MHz on a single input, then amplifi es and converts these signals to a form suitable for distribution over a twisted pair structured network. The signals are then re-constituted to their original form at the termination point via an active Balun with little to no degradation of signal. As the catTV system only utilises 2 out of the 4 pairs within the network, other services may be added.

HIRSCHMANN NBL0200 catTV 'BALUN'

The NBL0200 catTV Balun is used in conjunction with the catTV Panel. It is an active, remote-fed unit designed to split the phone or data and RF signals, converting the RF signals from balanced (100ohm) to coaxial (75ohm).
